Chapter 12: Friends Of Enemies

A week later Destiny was changing Andrew in a sleeper when the phone rang. "Hello?" "Hey babe." "Josh. How are you?" "Good. How are things back home?" "Alright. I told your mom. She's not happy." "What? How could you? I told you that moving back to Chicago was a bad idea. Now I'm going to have to clean your shit up." "Josh, don't be like this." "Does anyone else know?" "I told Kevin." "Who the hell is Kevin?" She knew he wasn't going to like it. "Patrick's brother." "Are you telling everybody? Do you want to stay together. Patrick is going to find out." "No, Kevin told me he wouldn't tell." "Whatever. I gotta go." He hung up on her. Destiny started crying.

She looked up and Andrew was looking at her. "Hey honey. Don't you worry. Things will be fine. Are you hungry?" She got up and got a bottle when there was a knock on the door. "Patrick. What are you doing here?" "We just got back and Kevin told me he seen you so I thought I would come over." "Come in. I was just about to feed Andrew." "Hey, look at me." He put his hand on her chin. "What's wrong?" "Josh called. I just miss him." "Well, I know I can't take his place, but I'm here." "Thank you. That means a lot to me."

They went to the living room and both sat on the couch. "He's sure grown a lot." "Well, he's almost 5 months old now." Destiny tried to feed Andrew but he didn't want the bottle. He kept crying. "What is it, sweetie." She felt his forehead. "Oh baby." "What is it?" Patrick asked. "He's burning up. Can you hold him so I can call the doctor?" "Sure. Here we go buddy." Patrick took Andrew in his arms. Destiny came back. "They want me to him in." "Can I go with you?" "If you want. You don't have to." "I want to." She smiled at him. "Okay. Let me get a diaper bag ready."

A few minutes later Destiny came out and they all left for the clinic. They got to the front desk. "How can I help you?" "My son has an appointment." "Andrew Michaels?" "Yes." "Okay. Have a seat and the nurse will be with you." Patrick had the carrier and sat down with Destiny. She was biting her nails. "Dest, I'm sure everything is fine. He probably just has an ear infection." "I know. Thank you for coming, Patty." "Anytime." He took her hand. "Andrew." The nurse said. They all followed the nurse into a room. "What's going on with Andrew." "Last night he was a little fussy, but I didn't really think anything of it. Then this afternoon he wouldn't take his bottle and was burning up." "Okay. Let me take his temperature." The nurse took his temperature. "It's a little high. 101.2. Has he been pulling on his ears or had a cold?" "He did have a cough." "Okay. Is this your husband?" "No, just a friend." "Alright, the doctor will be with you in a few minutes."

"Just a friend?" Patrick asked. "Well, your not my husband. What was I suppose to say?" "I don't know. Just kinda hurt. I think I'm more than just a friend." "Patrick, she didn't want to hear our life story." Just then there was a knock on the door and the doctor came in. "Hello, how are you all doing?" "Good." "Let's take a look at this guy." The doctor examined Andrew. "He has an ear infection. I'll give him a prescription for some medicine. Make sure he finishes it all. He should do alright. Do you have any questions?" "No, thank you doctor." "I'll fax the medicine and you can pick it up in a half hour." The doctor left and Patrick started to dress Andrew.

Destiny looked at the two boys. "Patrick, I need to tell you something." "Sure. What?" He continued to dress Andrew. "Um, thank you." She couldn't do it. "Well, it's alright. I don't mind." "Just then Destiny's phone rang. "Hello." "Destiny, this is Susan." "What is it?" "Josh wanted me to tell you that he's coming home in a few weeks." "Why didn't he tell me earlier?" "I guess he just found out." "Oh, okay.Thanks." "Bye." "Who was that?" "Josh's mom. He's coming home soon." She looked down. "You don't seem excited." "I don't know. Sometimes I wonder if I love him. Maybe it's just that we haven't spent a lot of time together." "Maybe. Do you love someone else?" She looked at Patrick. "No, there is no one else." She lied. "Okay. I'm sure things will work out. You just have to get use to one another. God, I can't believe I'm sticking up for that asshole." "Patrick! Not in front of Andrew." "He doesn't know what I'm saying." "He might. He's not stupid." He took Andrew and put him in the carrier.
They got to Destiny's apartment and Patrick dropped them off and went to get the medicine. A hour later he came back to the apartment. He knocked on the door, but there was no answer. He checked the door knob. It was open. "Honey, I'm home." He laughed at his own joke. He went to the living room. Destiny and Andrew were asleep on the couch. He looked down at them. God, he wanted both of them. He wanted Andrew to be his. Patrick went and took Andrew. "Hey there buddy. It's time for your medicine." Patrick gave Andrew his medicine and sat in the chair with him. Patrick closed his eyes and fell asleep.

A hour later Destiny woke up. She looked around and seen Andrew in Patrick's arms. They looked so cute. She got her camera and took a picture. Patrick woke up. "What are you doing?" Patrick asked. "I'm taking your picture." She smiled. "I gave Andrew his medicine. He seems to be doing good." "Thank you. I'm going to get his bottle ready. Do you want something to eat." "Actually, I think I'm going to go home. I'm really tired. Is that alright?" "Sure. Thank you for everything, Patrick. You mean so much to me." He kissed her on the cheek and left.

~Two Weeks Later~

Patrick was spending a lot of time with Andrew and Destiny. Destiny was having a hard time to keep quiet. She knew if she told him that Josh would be upset. Destiny was getting Andrew dressed. They were going to go for a walk. There was a knock on the door. "Hi Patrick. What's up?" "I got Andrew something." "Really. You know you don't have to." "I know. But this is something he really needs. It will get him all the chicks." She laughed. "Okay. I was getting him ready. We are going on a walk. Wanna come with us?" "I'd love to. Here's his gift." Destiny opened the bag. "This is going to get him all the chicks?" It was a little guitar. "I think he's a little young." "He'll use it in a few months. Come on, let's get him."

Patrick, Destiny, and Andrew walked down the street. Patrick was pushing the stroller. "Have you heard from Josh lately?" "No, he usually calls once a week. I have no idea when he is coming home." "Should be soon though. Right?" "Yeah, from what his mom said." They came to a café. "Do you want to get some supper?" "Sure. I'd love to." They went inside and got a table and ordered. Andrew started crying. Destiny got a bottle and fed him. "You really have taken to motherhood. Do you plan on going back to school?" "I don't know. I'd like to. It's just hard right now. And now my mom is moving to Canada." "She is? When?" "She applied for a job, not really thinking she would get it. But the pay is good. She actually leaves in a few weeks." "That soon. Are you going to be alright?" "Yeah. It's going to be hard. But I have you and Tina." Patrick found it odd she didn't mention Josh.
Their food came and they ate and walked back to the apartment. "I'm going to put Andrew down for bed. You can watch some TV." "Alright." Patrick sat down and turned the TV on. Destiny put Andrew down for bed and went to the couch. "He went right out. Poor little guy was tired." "Destiny," Patrick shut the TV off. "What? Is something wrong?" "No. I know I shouldn't tell you this, but I can't help myself. I still love you." "I care for you, Patrick. I'm married though." Patrick took her face in his hands and kissed her. "What about Becca?" "I don't love her. Not like you." The kiss deepened. Destiny sat on Patrick's lap. She ran her hands up and down his chest. "What about Josh?" Patrick asked. "I don't know. I don't know if I love him." She took his shirt off.
Patrick cupped her breasts. "Oh god, Patrick." She kissed him and slide her tongue in his mouth. He took her shirt off. "You feel so good Destiny." "What the fuck?" Destiny looked up. "Oh god. Josh. I'm sorry." She got off of Patrick. Patrick put his shirt on. "I'm sorry, Josh. It just happened. It's not her fault. It's mine." "Get out." "Will you be alright, Destiny." "Yes." Patrick left. "So, how long has this been going on?" "Nothing has been going on. It just happened." "If I didn't walk in you would of ended up fucking that shithead." "Josh, stop." She picked up her shirt.

Josh grabbed her arm. "Ow, you're hurting me." "I don't care. Have you told him?" "No, I was but I didn't." Josh slapped her. "I don't want him around here anymore." "I can't Josh. Why are you doing this. I need Patrick." "He threw her against the wall." "Why are you doing this? What did I do?" "What did you do? You were going to have sex with another man. You haven't even had sex with me." "I don't love you. I told you that when we started this whole charade. You'll never have my heart. Patrick will always hold it." Josh slapped her again. "You know what? You may be in the army and serving our country and have people look up to you, but Patrick is more of a man than you'll ever be." "You bitch." He ran to Destiny and she ran down the hall.

Josh was to quick for her. He hit her back and she fell on the ground face first. He sat on her and whispered in her ear. "Remember, what I said in North Carolina. You tell and you will lose everything. Cut all ties from Patrick or I will." He got off of her and she just laid there crying. She didn't know what she would do. Everything was a mess now. "Oh Patty. I love you."

The next week Destiny was walking on eggshells. Josh would fly off the handle at the littlest things. She called Patrick when Josh was at his mom and dad's. She had to tell him she couldn't see him anymore. She waited until her face healed. It was still red from the daily beatings, but not as bad. She called Patrick and they were going to meet at a coffee shop. Destiny's mom was taking care of Andrew.
"Hey Dest. How are you?" "I'm okay. I need to tell you something though." "Sure. You know you can tell me anything." She smiled at him. "I need to stop contact with you." "What? Why?" "I realize if I keep seeing you that there won't be a chance for Josh and I. Even letters or emails. I want nothing." "This is Josh's doing. Isn't it?" "No, that night if Josh didn't come home we probably would of slept together. You have Becca and I'm married. We need to go our separate ways. I will always love you, but I can't keep seeing you." "Destiny, why are you doing this?" "I told you. Please don't make this hard." "Hard. You are taking my heart out and stepping on it. Again. Why do I love you? You keep on hurting me. Fine. You don't want contact, you won't get it. We are finished as lovers and friends. I will get over you. I won't ever love you again. Remember that. I will not love you." He got up and threw some money on the table and left.

Destiny broke down. This was how it had to be. She knew if she had contact with Patrick and Josh found out she may not survive. He was becoming more brutal with each passing day. She figured it was the war. He had seen things no man or woman should have seen. She wiped her face and paid the bill and left the restaurant.

Chapter 8: And Baby Makes Four

~Two Months Later~

There was a knock on the door. Destiny waddled to the door. "Mom! You're early." "I didn't want my daughter to deliver all alone. My you have gotten big. You sure you aren't having twins." "Thanks mom. Come in. Let me show you around." Destiny showed her mom the home and they sat on the couch. "Um, how's Patrick?" "He's good. He comes over from time to time. He has a girlfriend." "I know." Destiny looked down at her stomach. "Do you still think you did the right thing?" "No, but it had to be done. Do you want something to eat?" "Sure. Let me help you." Destiny and her mom got up. "Oh no." "What is it Destiny?" "My water just broke." "Sit here. I'm going to call the doctor." Destiny sat on the couch rubbing her belly. "Baby, are you ready to make your entrance. Both your daddies aren't here. I hope you understand why I couldn't tell your daddy." "The nurse says to come in. Where is your suitcase?" "In my room. It's next to the bathroom."

Destiny's mom drove them to the hospital. She got into a room and into a gown. She got in the bed and they put a monitor on her stomach. "Hello, I'm Debbie. I'll be your nurse. Everything looks good. For your first pregnancy everything is going fast for you." "Alright." "Try and get some sleep." "Thank you." "Destiny, I'm going to call Josh's parents." "Mom, could you call Patrick and just tell him I'm having the baby." "Sure honey." Destiny slept for a little bit and the contractions became stronger. She wanted Patrick by her side.

By early morning Destiny was ready to push. "Come on honey. Push the baby out." "Mom, I can't." "Yes you can and you will. Do it for Josh. When he comes home he wants to see this beautiful baby. Push." Destiny gave one final push and she heard a baby cry. "What a beautiful baby boy." The doctor said. "And what lungs. I think you have a singer on your hands." "Just like his daddy." Destiny had tears in her eyes. They cleaned up the baby and handed him to Destiny. "Hey you. Were you the one kicking me all the time." "Destiny, how are you going to pass him off as Josh's. He looks like Patrick. Only thing missing is side burns. He has the hat on already." "I don't know. We'll just have to. Do you want to hold him?" "Of course." Destiny handed the baby to her mom. "Did you and Josh have a name picked out?" "Yes. His name is Andrew Martin." "I love it. Hello Andrew."

Debbie came in. "Do you want to nurse the baby?" "Yes, I do." Destiny took Andrew and and started to nurse him. Debbie helped her a little bit. Around 9 the nurse took Andrew so Destiny could sleep. A few hours later they brought the baby back to her. "Hey buddy. How are you?" The phone rang. "Hello?" "Hi Destiny." "Patrick. How are you?" "I should be asking you that, mommy." "I'm doing good." "How is the baby? Your mom never said what you had. She was too excited." "He is good. His name is Andrew Martin. You know who the Martin is for?" "For me? You didn't have to." "I know, but Josh and I talked it over." "Thank you. Have you talked to Josh?" "No, he doesn't know yet. I had my mom email him. I hope he gets it soon." "I have to go, but I wanted to talk to you and see how you were doing." Andrew started crying. "Is that him?" "No Patrick. It's me." "Funny you ain't. He's got a good set of lungs on him." "That's what the doctor said. I better go. I'll talk to you later." "Alright. Bye."

Destiny fed Andrew. She then put him in the bassinet. The phone rang again. "Hello Destiny." "Oh my god. Josh, how are you?" "Alright, but miss you. I got your moms email. How is he?" "He's doing good. Missing his daddy already." "I'm sorry, hun. I won't be able to come home until June sometime." "I understand, Josh. We'll be fine. My mom is staying for a week and your parents will be down and then Patrick and Pete are coming with Tina and Becca." "Okay. I have to go. Someone else is waiting for the phone. You take care of yourself and little Andy. Give him a kiss from daddy." "I will. Take care of yourself too." "Bye."

~One week later~

"Mom, I'm going to pick up Josh's mom and dad. Will you be alright with Andrew?" "Of course, but are you sure you don't want me to get them?" "Yeah, I need to get out." "Alright. Drive careful." Destiny got in the car and drove to the airport. She turned on the radio. "Next is a song by a new group. Their name is Fall Out Boy. There will be great things from this band. Here is their song 'Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy.'" "Oh my god." Destiny said. She heard Patrick's voice coming through her car speakers. Tears fell from her eyes onto her cheeks. He made it. She thought.

She got to the airport and wiped her eyes and went to the gate to get Josh's parents. "Hi, how are you two?" "We are good. The plane was alright. How are you?" Susan, Josh's mom asked. "I'm good. It's my first time out of the house since Andrew was born. Well, let's go." Destiny drove to the home and showed Susan and Ted where they would be staying. Destiny moved her stuff into Josh's room and her mom was leaving later in the day. "How is Andrew?" "He is doing good. He's hungry though." Destiny fed him. Afterward, they all had some lunch. "Destiny, I'm going to have to leave now. You take care of yourself and the little man." "I will. You have a safe trip back." "Thanks. I'll be back down in August." She hugged Destiny and gave a kiss to Andrew.

Destiny went to sit in the living room. "Can I hold him Destiny?" "Oh sure." Destiny handed Andrew over to Susan. "He sure is precious isn't he?" "Yes he is." "He doesn't look like a thing like Josh though. He sure doesn't have his coloring." "Yeah, he must get that from me. I'm kinda pale." "I guess so." "Um, I was wondering if you could watch Andrew so I could lay down for a little bit." "Sure. If we need anything we'll get you."
Destiny went to her room and laid down. She fell asleep right away.

She woke up and looked at the clock. She slept for three hours. "Why didn't they wake me? They know Andrew needs to eat." She got up and walked to the living room, but stopped. She heard Ted and Susan talking. She stood in the doorway so they wouldn't see her. "Ted, I'm telling you this isn't Josh's baby. He doesn't even look like him." "Josh didn't look like me when he was born. What makes you think they would lie to us?" "I don't think Josh would, but Destiny might." "Come on. You are jumping to conclusions." "She was dating a boy and all of a sudden she is pregnant with Josh's baby. It doesn't make sense. Remember that boy? He came to the house when Destiny and Josh were working on a school project in Junior High. What was his name...Paul, Phil. No, it was Patrick. This is his baby." "Susan, now stop. You aren't thinking straight with Josh gone. You want Andrew to look exactly like him because you miss him. Stop."

"Hi. How is Andrew?" "Oh, he is doing good. He's probably hungry now." "Okay. I'm going to take him in the nursery." Destiny took Andrew and went to the nursery and got in the rocking chair. She put him to her breast. "Boy you were hungry. I'm sorry little man. You shouldn't be in the middle of this. I just hope they don't find out. Your daddy needs to come home. I miss him. I didn't think I would, but I do. Maybe we can be a real family." Destiny thought of what she would say when Josh came home. She would love him for his sake and for Andrew's.

Chapter 9: The Visit Of The Real Daddy

Destiny made it through the week with Josh's parents. Susan didn't bring up that Andrew didn't look like Josh anymore. Destiny had a week to herself until the everyone showed up. She was scared to see Patrick and his reaction to Andrew. She was picking up before everyone showed up. Andrew started to cry. "Hey baby." She picked him up and he was still crying. Destiny tried to feed him. He took some milk but was still crying.

There was a knock on the door. "Oh great. Their here." She opened the door. There stood the man she still loved. "Oh Patrick." She hugged him. "I missed you." Andrew was still crying. "What's wrong?" "I don't know. He won't stop crying." "Here let me hold him." Patrick put down his bags and took the baby. Andrew stopped crying. "I guess he likes me." "Yeah. I guess so. Where is everyone else?" "They went to the hotel. Becca said she wanted to give us some alone time." "You two are staying here right?" "Yeah, Pete and Tina are going to stay at the hotel." "Okay. Well, come in. You want to sit down with Andrew?" "Sure." They went to the living room and they all sat on the couch. "So what do you think of him?" "He's a cute little thing. I sure don't know how you do it Destiny. I sure couldn't." "Not even with the mother?" "Hell no. Not with everything going on right now. You are doing amazing though. I can tell." "Thanks. I have to go to the bathroom. Will you be alright?" "Sure thing."
Destiny went to the bathroom and broke down. She couldn't believe what Patrick said. It just proved it was a good thing to marry Josh. She didn't want to hurt Patrick. And telling him about the baby would of. She washed her face and went to the living room. "You know I love your mom still. You are one lucky guy to have her as a mom. She will love you with all her heart just like she loved me. If you ever cause her heartache know that your dad and I will get on your butt." Destiny smiled.

"What are you telling my son?" "We were just having a little talk. Oh, I have something for him." Patrick handed Andrew to Destiny and went to his bag and took out a package. "Here you go." She opened it up. Inside was a blue blanket and a teddy bear. "Thank you Patrick. The bear is so cute." She hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek, but Patrick accidentally moved his face and they kissed on their lips. Destiny slide her tongue into Patrick's mouth. Patrick broke the kiss. "Destiny, you don't want to do this." "I miss you, Patrick. I should of never married Josh. It's you I still love." "I have someone else. I still love you, but not like that anymore. Please understand." "I do. I'm sorry. I should go and feed Andrew. I'll be in the nursery."

Destiny walked to the nursery and started to feed Andrew. "I feel like a fool. He's moved on and I haven't. God, what a dork I am." She wiped the tears from her face. After Andrew was fed she put him in his crib. She went back to the living room. The rest of them were there. "Hey Tina. I missed you." She hugged Tina and Pete. "Hi Becca. How are you?" "Good. Thanks for letting me stay here." "No problem. Would you all like something to drink?" Destiny went to the kitchen to get drinks. Tina came in.

"How are you doing?" "Not good. We kissed." "What?" "It was an accident. I told him I made a mistake to marry Josh and that I still love him. He said he has moved on. Oh Tina, I'm such a fool." Tina took Destiny in her arms. "Shhh, it'll be alright." "Hey you two. What's wrong?" "Nothing Pete. Just go to the living room." Tina said. "Why did I do this? You know I think Andrew knows Patrick is his dad. He was crying and wouldn't stop and when Patrick came and took him he stopped crying." "Oh hun. Don't do this to yourself. Patrick is happy with Becca. I would love for you two to be together, but it's too late now. You are married. I'm sorry." "I know. I guess I didn't want him to move on. Kinda selfish of me." "It's going to be alright. Now clean up and I'll take the drinks out."

Destiny took a few minutes and went to the living room. Patrick and Becca were holding hands. It was going to be a hard week. They all talk for a hour and then Destiny heard Andrew and went to get him. He was passed around to everyone. Later on they all went out for supper and Pete and Tina went back to the hotel and Patrick, Becca, Destiny, and Andrew went to the house. "I'm going to put him to bed. Make your self comfortable." Destiny went to the nursery and changed Andrew's diaper and put him in a sleeper. Then she rocked him. After he fell asleep in her arms she put him in the crib.

She walked out to the living room. Becca was on top of Patrick and they were making out. "Oh god." Destiny whispered to herself. "Hey you two. I don't want to see that in front of Andrew." She laughed. Becca got off of Patrick. "Well, I'm going to go to bed. You know where everything is?" "Yeah. We'll see you in the morning." Patrick said. Destiny went to the bedroom and got into her nightgown and got into bed. She could hear Patrick and Becca in the living room laughing. She felt so alone. She fell asleep after a few hours of tossing and turning.

~At the hotel~

Pete opened the door and Tina walked in and him after her. "Andrew sure doesn't look like Josh, does he?" Pete asked. "No, but he looks like Destiny." "Yeah, your right. So what was that in the kitchen?" Tina sat on the bed taking her shoes off. "Nothing." "Come on. I know something was wrong." "Destiny still loves Patrick. They kissed and he said he doesn't have romantic feelings for her anymore." "That fucker." "What?" "He's lying." "How do you know?" "Because everyday he talks about her. Sure he may love Becca, but he also loves Destiny. He'll never let her go. He'll always have a connection with her." "You can say that again." "What?" "Um, nothing." "No, you said something." Pete sat on the bed. "You have to promise not to tell anyone. One person in particular. "I'll try." "No, you have to." "Okay. I promise." He kissed her lips.

"I don't know why I'm telling you this. I told Destiny I wouldn't tell anyone." "Out with it." "Andrew is Patrick's son." Pete fell off the bed. "What?" He got up. "Don't be so dramatic. You even questioned it." "I know, but I didn't think this. Why didn't she tell Patrick?" "She found out right when you guys got the record deal and were going on the tour. She didn't want to ruin it for Patrick and the rest of you guys." "Damn. That poor girl. Why did she marry Josh?" "He came up with the idea. She thought it would be good to give Andrew the family life she never had." "I need to tell him, Tina." "No, you can't. He can't find out." "Tina, if it was me I would want to know. I can't keep a child from him. He's my best friend." "And Destiny is mine. I can't betray her. I already did by telling you." "I'm going to talk to her." "Pete, please don't. Let me." "Okay. She really needs to tell him. I know Patrick would love that little boy. He already does." "I'll try and talk to her tomorrow. Now come here."

Pete walked over to Tina. "Yes, what do you have in mind." "Sit down and I'll show you." Pete sat on the bed and Tina straddled his hips. "I love you, Peter." She kissed his lips softly sliding her tongue in his mouth. She ran her hands up and down his chest and when she came to the bottom of his shirt she took it off of him. "Much better." She said. She took her own shirt off. Pete fell back on the bed with Tina on him and rolled over so she was under him. "Now what are you going to do?" He said. She smiled up at him. "I love your smile." He kissed her. He cupped her breast while kissing her. Pete took off her bra and kissed each of her breasts. She could feel him getting hard for her. She reached down and felt him through his jeans. "Oh god, Tina."

She unbuttoned his jeans and he took them off with his boxers. "I want you so bad." Pete said. Tina kissed him while he took off her jeans and panties. He kissed her neck and down her stomach. He slide two fingers inside of her. "Oh Pete. I need you." He moved back up and slide his hardness inside of her. Pete just looked down at her. "What is it?" "I just wonder how I got lucky to have you in my life." "Stop it Peter. I'm the lucky one." "No, I am." He smiled at her and kissed her as he started moving inside of her. Tina wrapped her legs around Pete's waist. "Baby, I love you." Pete fell on top of her.

"Pete, did you mean it?" "What?" "That you love me. You never said it before." He looked up at her. Tina had tears in her eyes. "You mean the world to me. I couldn't go on without you." He took her face in his hands. "I love you with all my heart, soul, and mind." "I love you so much." Tina kissed him. They fell asleep in each other arms.

"What?" Destiny asked. "I know you care for Patrick and things are moving forward for him." "I just thought this way he can follow his dream and you can still have security for you and your baby." "I don't know. What am I suppose to tell Patrick. Oh by the way I'm pregnant but it's not yours. When it really is." "No, break up with him. And go out with me. We can tell everyone you are pregnant in a month or two. Or you can tell him we slept together. I know that will hurt him though, but then we wouldn't have to explain you having the baby early." "Yeah. Can I think about it? I just don't know what to do." Destiny started crying. "Come here." She went into Josh's arms. "Shhh. You will get through this."

There was a knock on the door. "Who could that be?" "You sit and I'll get the door." Josh said. Josh went to the door. "Uh, Patrick." "Josh. What the hell are you doing here?" "Um, I had to talk to Destiny about our project." "At 6 in the morning?" "Yeah. She's in the living room." Patrick walked to the living room. "Destiny, what's going on?" "Nothing." "Something is wrong. Josh is here early morning and you've been crying." Destiny knew what she had to do. "Patrick, I slept with Josh and I'm pregnant with his child." "What? Are you serious?" "Yes. I'm sorry, Patty." "Stop. Stop calling me that. Why? Wasn't I good enough?" "Yes, you were. It just happened once." "Is that suppose to make me feel better. God, this can't be happening." Patrick ran his fingers through his hair. "What are you going to do with the baby?" "I'm keeping it. Josh and I are getting married once he graduates next month." "Married? This just keeps getting better." "Patrick, there will be someone else for you. You have so much going on right now. You don't need me." "What are you saying? I need you. I wanted to spend my life with you." "No, live your life. Go and make music. I love you and always will. Remember that, but there will be someone else." Destiny gave Patrick one final kiss.

He took her and pulled her away. "Don't ever kiss me again. I want nothing to do with you." He turned to face Josh. "And you. What the hell were you thinking? You have always wanted her and now you have her." Patrick threw a punch at Josh. "Stop it Patrick. Don't do this." She grabbed Patrick off of Josh, but he was too strong. Patrick swung back and accidently hit Destiny in the face and she fell to the ground. "You asshole. Get off of me." Josh went to Destiny. "Are you alright?" "Yeah, I'm fine. I deserve it." "No, you don't." Josh looked up at Patrick. "I'm sorry, Destiny. I didn't mean to hit you." "I know. I'm the one who is sorry. I screwed up everything." Patrick bent down and gave Destiny a kiss.

Patrick walked out and went home. "What happened to thinking about it?" "I had to tell him. I couldn't look at him and know I would ruin his life. Can you leave. I want to be alone." "Are you sure?" "Yes, I'll talk to you later." "Okay. Take care and if you need anything call me." "I will. Thank you for everything." Josh walked out the door and Destiny broke down crying. She finally went upstairs and cleaned her face. She then crawled back to bed. She looked over to her night stand. There was a picture of her and Patrick at the school dance two years ago. "I'm sorry, Patty. I'm sorry it has to be this way." She fell asleep and woke up a few hours later to someone yelling outside.

"No, mom. I'm going. I gotta get out of this fucking town and away from her." She seen Patrick get in his car and tires screaming down the road. "Oh, Patrick." She went back to her bed and cried. "We'll get through this baby. I know we are doing the right thing. Daddy loves music and needs to be free to do that. Josh will be a good father for you." Destiny got up and took a shower and dressed. She decided to tell her mom about the baby.

"Mom, I need to talk to you." "Sure honey." "Can we go to the living room?" They walked to the living room and sat on the couch. "Mom, I'm pregnant. I'm not telling Patrick because of him wanting to be a musician. I don't want to ruin his chances." "Oh honey. Won't he know it's his?" "No, he already thinks it's not. You remember Josh?" "Yeah. The Jensen boy." "Yes. He came up with a plan. I'll marry him and he'll be the baby's father. He's going into the army and we'll live on base. Patrick already believes the baby is Josh's." "Do you think this is a good idea?" "No, but it's what I need to do. Josh is willing to be there and I won't ruin Patrick's life." "I'm here for you. Whatever you need. I think we first need to set up a doctor's appointment." "Okay."

Destiny called Josh and told him that she would have a doctor's appointment and if he would go with her. Later that day Destiny, her mom, and Josh went to the doctor. Destiny had to fill out some paperwork and was called in. "Hello Destiny, I'm Doctor Peterson. How are you doing?" "Good. This is my mom and my, um." "Boyfriend. I'm Josh Jensen." "Nice to meet you all. It's nice to see a family being supportive. Why don't you get on the table and we'll do an exam." Destiny got up on the table and the doctor examed her. "Everything looks good. Your due date is May 30. I am giving you a perscription for some prenatal vitamins. I want you to eat well and get some exercise. It will be good for both you and the baby." "Okay, thank you." "Make another appointment for a month." "Alright."

Josh went home with Destiny and her mom. When they got there the boys were at Patrick's fixing up the van. She looked over and seen Patrick staring at her and Josh. Destiny looked to the ground. "It's going to be alright." Josh whispered. "It'll never be alright." Destiny said. They went into the house and Destiny's mom made some lunch while Josh and Destiny talked. "Did you tell your parents?" Destiny asked. "Yeah, they weren't too happy. But they understand. They know the baby isn't mine. I didn't tell them about joining the army and I think they were more upset about that." "When do you think we should get married?" "What about January 5th. I go into basic training on the 10th. I'll be there for a few weeks. After I complete that we will move to base. You do realize we might have to move away from Chicago." "Yes, I realize that." She started to cry. "Oh baby. I want you to be happy." "I will be. Just these hormones."

They ate lunch and Destiny's mom left for work. Josh and her watched a movie. After the movie Josh left. Destiny went to sit on the front step and write in her journal. Pete and Patrick were still working on the van. She wanted to go over and talk to Patrick, but she knew he would just get upset. Patrick had his shirt off. "God, he is so gorgeous." Destiny said to herself. "Pete, give me the fucking wrench." Patrick yelled. "Trick, why don't you talk to her." "No, she made her bed she can lie in it." "You don't feel that way and you know it. What if the baby is yours and she is just saying it's Josh's?" Patrick moved from under the van and looked at Pete. "What the hell are you talking about?" "Well, face it, she's been with you this whole time. I just don't see her and Josh together." "Well, they are. She told me herself." "Doesn't mean they are." "Just forget it, Pete. I don't want to talk about this." "Okay. I still think you two need to talk and still remain friends. Remember when you two got together, you told me you didn't want to lose her as a friend." "Yeah. You are right there, but how can I when she is having another man's baby and getting married. I love her." "Just go."

Patrick got up and brushed his jeans off. He walked over to Destiny. "Hey." "Hi Patrick. Having problems with the van?" "Yeah, we'll be lucky to get out of Chicago." "When do you leave?" "In a week." "You are going to have a good time." "I"m going to miss you." "I'm going to miss you too." But she didn't mean because he was going on tour. She meant because she left him. "I wanted to apoligize about fighting with Josh and hitting you. I feel so bad." "It's alright. I understand." She smiled at him. "So how have you been feeling? Any sickness?" "A little. Not too bad though. More tired than anything. Do you want to sit down." "Yeah." Patrick sat next to her on the step. "You probably should be resting." "Actually, for once I'm awake." She smiled at Patrick. "I went to the doctor today. Everything is looking good. I'm sorry, you probably don't want to hear this." "No, I do. I still care for you. Hell, I still love you." "I'm so sorry. I wish I could change things. I screwed up." She started crying. "Hey, come here." She went into his arms. Oh, how she missed his arms. "I want us to remain friends. Yeah, I am hurt. But I care for you and I'll care for your baby. I can't wait to see him or her. When are you due?" Destiny prayed Patrick wouldn't start counting. He would figure the baby was his. "May 30. Thankfully, I won't have to be pregnant during the summer." "That'll be good. Um, when are you getting married?" "January 5. Josh leaves for basic training on the 10th. He's going into the army. After his training is done we will be moving. We don't know where yet."

Patrick really looked at Destiny. For someone who was getting married she looked liked her best friend died. "Dest, is this what you want?" "No, but it has to be this way." "Come on now. Lots of people have babies without getting married. You don't need to marry him." "I know. But I want my baby to have that family life. If that makes sense." "Yeah, it does. Will you please keep in touch. Email me, call, text, write my mom. Please?" "Of course. You are my best friend. I don't know what I would do if I lost you." "You won't. It's going to be hard not seeing you every day." "I know. You are leaving soon. When are you coming back?" "Not until April. We will have to say our goodbyes when I leave." "Yeah, oh Patrick. I'm going to miss you." She hugged him and took in his smell. He smelled of cologne and sweat from working on the van.

"Patrick, I think I got it fixed." Pete yelled from the street. "I should be going. I just wanted to talk to you. I will always love you. Remember that." "Same here. You will always be on my mind." "Can I kiss you?" "Yes." Patrick bent down and touched Destiny's lips softly running his tongue on her lips. "I'll talk to you later. Get some rest and if you need anything, come over or call." "I will. Thank you Patrick." She watched Patrick leave. She rubbed her belly. "You daddy still cares about me. I still care about him too. I wish things could be different little one. I know your daddy would love you." Destiny went inside and laid down for a little while.

The next week went by fast. Destiny couldn't believe that Patrick would be leaving so soon. She wanted to tell him, but couldn't. She spent a lot of time with Josh. She was liking him more but nothing like she should feel if she was going to marry him. The day came for Patrick and the boys to leave. She looked out her window and seen Patrick loading the suitcases. She put her shoes on and went outside. "Patrick! Patrick!" He turned around and she ran into his arms. "Patty, I'm going to miss you." "Whoa. What's all this?" "I love you. I'll never stop." "Hey, you have Josh and soon the baby." "I know. But I'm going to miss you. There hasn't been a day that has gone by without seeing you." "You can write, call, text, anything. I want to know how you are doing and even when you have that precious baby. I want to see him or her." That made Destiny cry even harder. She looked into his green eyes.

"Patrick, there's something I need to tell you." "Sure. What is it?" He continued to put the suitcases in the back of the van. "Trick, hurry up. Pete wants to get going." Andy hollared. "Alright. In a minute." He closed the doors. "I need to get going. What did you want to tell me?" "Nothing. You take care of yourself and I'll call or email." "Alright. I'm going to miss you. Remember you are always loved and take care of that little one." He hugged Destiny. He placed his hand on her belly. "You take care of you mom. Don't make her too sick." Destiny felt the tears burning her eyes. "Goodbye Patty." "Goodbye. Tell Josh to take care of you." "I will." Destiny walked over to Tina and watched Patrick get in the van.

"Have you told him?" Tina asked Destiny. "No, he's not going to know. You won't tell him or Pete will you?" "No, but I think what you are doing is wrong, but I support you." "Thank you. It is just how it has to be. If I told him about the baby he would quit the band and stay here. So I wouldn't only be ruining one life, I would ruin Pete's, Joe's, and Andy's." "Oh Destiny, I don't think you would be ruining their lives. But you have to do what is right." They watched the van go down the road and out of sight. "Here, Patrick wanted me to give you this." It was a letter and a box. "Oh, thank you." "I have to go home. I have a ton of homework. See you later." "Bye Tina. Thanks for understanding." "Hey, that's what friends are for." They hugged each other.

Destiny went home and straight to her bedroom. She sat on her bed and took the letter out of the envelope.

Dest,
I'm going to miss you, but you already knew that. I want to write you because I don't know how to say what I'm thinking. I think you are making a mistake by marrying Josh. You aren't the same person anymore. What happened to my smiling Destiny? Please think about it? It doesn't mean that he can't be in the baby's life. I know what you mean about a family life. We both come from divorce families and it's hard. Please think about it. If not for me for the baby.

In June I'm planning on seeing you and the baby. If you are with Josh or not. He better realize I'm still going to be in your life. I love you. I know you slept with him while we were together and I'm so upset by that. But you are my sunshine. Whenever I get sad I think of you and smile. Remember when we were about 5 or so, we were at school and Bobby pushed me in a mud puddle. I remember you helping me up and taking me to the bathroom. You went into the boys bathroom with me. You had guts even then. You cleaned me off and then told me you had something to do. I went to class and noticed you weren't there. You went home and got me some different clothes. You are one special girl.

I got you this bracelet. It has charms on it. I got two so far. One is your birthstone and the other says best friends. I wish we could be more, but if not a best friend is what I will take. I should end this. You take care of yourself and the baby. I'll see you soon. If you need anything and can't get a hold of me talk to my mom. Okay? She is not mad at you. I love you!

Love,
Patty (okay, I finally wrote it)

Destiny smiled after reading the letter and reread it. Afterwards, she looked at the charm bracelet. "It's beautiful." She put it on. She laid on the bed and looked at a picture of her and Patrick that was taken when they were 12. "Everything was simplier than. I know your daddy will make us proud." Destiny fell asleep holding the picture.

Thanksgiving and Christmas came and Destiny was finally getting more energy and not as sick anymore. Josh spent a lot of time with her. Patrick wrote to her and she wrote to him. Josh didn't mind. She talked with Patrick's mom and everything was alright with them too. Josh and her decided on a small wedding. Nothing too fancy. Just friends and family. The day finally came.

Destiny was all dressed and looked in the mirror. The dress didn't hide the fact she was pregnant. She placed her hand on the bump. "My little one, we are going to get through this. I miss your daddy." There was a knock on the door. "Come in." "Hi Destiny." "Hi Patricia." "How are you doing?" "Okay. A little nervous." "Just make sure that you are doing the right thing?" "I am." "Patrick wanted to be here, but they are in New York or New Jersey. I can't remember, but he Fedex this for you." Patricia handed Destiny a box. "I just wanted to see how you were. I'll talk to you later." "Okay. Thanks." Destiny sat down and opened the box. Inside was a letter and a light purple blanket.

Destiny,
I got you and Josh this blanket. I know you love purple. I wish I could be there. Well, not really. But I would like to be there for you. When you use this blanket think of me wrapping my arms around you. I know I probably shouldn't even say that. You are going to be a married woman and I have no right to even think of holding you. I miss you so much. I want that baby to be mine. Late at night when the rest of the guys are sleeping I imagine us married and having three kids. I'm sorry. I shouldn't bring this up now. Have a good day. I wish that you and Josh have a wonderful life.
Patrick

Destiny took out the blanket. "Destiny, it's almost time." Her mom came into the room. "Alright. Look what Patrick gave us." "It's beautiful. Come on or you are going to be late." Destiny stood up. "You look beautiful." Destiny went to her mom and hugged her. "The is the last time I'm going to say this, are you doing the right thing?" "Yes, things have to be this way." "Okay, it's time for you to get married."

Chapter 3: Rough Times

February came very slowly for Destiny. It was finally time for her to leave Wisconsin. "Come on sweetie. Your plane is going to leave soon." "Alright." She got her suitcase and got into the car. "Are you going to miss me, Destiny?" She didn't say anything. She was looking outside. Her dad slapped her. "Ow. What?" "I said are you going to miss me?" "Of course, daddy." They got to the airport and her dad walked her to the gate. "You take care, Destiny. Tell Patrick all about me." "I hate you." With that Destiny walked to the plane. She couldn't wait to get away from her dad. A few hours later the plane landed.

Her mom was waiting for her. "Mom, where's Patrick?" "Um, he couldn't make it." "Oh, let's go home." She grabbed her suitcase and they went home. Destiny went to her room to unpack. After she was done she laid on her bed. She wanted to see Patrick so bad. Why didn't he come to the airport? She decided to go to his house. She walked out and seen him kissing a girl. She had tears in her eyes. He looked up and seen her. He walked over. "Destiny, I'm so glad to see you." He gave her an awkward hug. "Patrick, who is she?" "Destiny, I want you to meet my girlfriend Susan." "Hi, I just got home. I was in Wisconsin. Well, I have to go. Talk to you later." She walked up the street crying.

She went to the park and sat down on the grass. It was cold, but she didn't care. A little bit later she felt an arm around her. She knew that arm anywhere. "Why Patrick? What happened?" "What happened? I never heard from you. I sent you letters and never got anything back. I didn't think you wanted anything more than a friendship." "What? I sent you letters every week and I never got your letters. My dad wouldn't let me call. Oh my god." "What is it?" "My dad. He must of threw the letters away." "How was it?" "Awful. Oh, Patty. I missed you." She went into his arms. "Something happened there." "What?" "I can't tell you." "Yes, you can. When have we kept secrets." "Never, but this is just awful." "Dest, please tell me." She was sobbing. "My dad, the second night, he," She couldn't go on. She got up and ran home.

Patrick just sat there. There was something different about her. He went and followed her. He knocked on the door. "Hi, Becky. Can I talk to Destiny?" "Patrick, she doesn't feel good." "Oh, well tell her I hope she feels better and I'll see her tomorrow." "I will Hun." He walked home and went to his bedroom to finish his homework. He looked over and seen Destiny in her room. She was sitting on her bed. He wanted to make her happy. His phone rang. "Hello? Oh, hi Susan. Yeah, I'll walk you to school tomorrow. Can Destiny come? Okay. She will be happy. Talk to you tomorrow." Patrick sat down at his desk. He really didn't like Susan as a girlfriend. He decided that he was going to break up with her tomorrow.

In the morning Destiny could barely get out of bed. She got up and took a shower and got dressed. She went downstairs and grabbed some breakfast. "Patrick came here last night." "Did you tell him that I wasn't feeling well?" "Yes, is something wrong?" "No, I just was tired." "Okay." There was a knock on the door. "Hi Patrick." "Hey Destiny. Are you ready?" "Yeah. Let me get my things. Mom, I'm going to go." "Alright. Have a good day. I'm back on nights, so if you want to stay at Patrick's you can." "Okay. See you later."
Destiny and Patrick walked down the street. "Um, we have to get Susan." "Oh, alright." "I'm breaking up with her today." "Don't break up with her because of me." "I'm not. I don't like her as a girlfriend. She is so fake. She's nice and all, but not for me." "Alright." "Destiny, what happened last night?" "Nothing. I don't want to talk about it." "Will you come to me when you feel like it?" "Of course." They picked up Susan and went to school.

Destiny met up with Tina. "Oh Dest. I missed you so much. How are you?" "Good now I'm back here. How are you?" "Good. How was Wisconsin?" "Terrible, but I don't want to get into it." "How dare you, Stumph. You led me on until your little tramp came home." Tina and Destiny turned around to screaming Susan. "Be quiet, Susan." "No, you did this on purpose. I hate you, Patrick. I hope you and your slut will be happy." She slapped him and walked away. Destiny walked to him. "I'm sorry, Patty." She hugged Patrick. "Thanks. I've missed your hugs. I'm sorry you had to hear that." "No worries. I take it from the source." He smiled. "What's your first class?" "Ah, English Lit." "I have that. Come on." They walked to class. Maybe things weren't going to be bad anymore.

~Two Years Later~
Destiny was back from her dads for a month now and didn't want to leave her bedroom. She still didn't tell anyone. No one knew her pain. There was a knock on the door. Her mom was at work so she knew she had to get it. She opened the door. "Destiny, I've had enough. You are going to tell me what the fuck is wrong?" Patrick sat down on the couch. "Leave. I don't want to tell you or anyone else. "I'm your best friend. Why won't you tell me? What have I done that you don't trust me?" "Nothing." She started crying. "Come here." She sat on the couch and Patrick put his arms around her.

"Okay, I'll tell you. But promise me you won't tell anyone." "I won't." "As far as I can remember my dad would beat me. A slap here or there. Then it got worse. My mom never knew. When I went there for those six months I knew it was going to be hell, but I never expected it to be a pure hell. The second night," She looked into Patrick's eyes. "The second night he raped me. Then again and again. He continued. Every time I visit, he comes to my room. I wash myself, but I can't get rid of the dirt. I don't know what to do." "Oh my god. Destiny, why didn't you come to me? I would of helped you." "I'm ashamed. I feel so dirty." "Don't. He's the one that should feel ashamed. God. What a pig. We need you to get help." "No, I told you I don't want anyone to know." "Why? Don't you want him stopped? You need the help." "Patrick, just leave." "Hun," "No." She went to the door and opened it. He took her face in his hands. "I'm going to make this right." He walked out.

Destiny shut the door and went to her bedroom. She fell asleep. Around 1AM the phone rang. "Hello?" "Destiny, it's Patricia. Is Patrick there?" "No, he left some time ago. Let me call Pete and see if he's there." "Alright." Destiny hung up and called Pete. There was no answer. She decided to call Tina. Tina and Pete were getting closer, so she knew Tina would know where Pete was. "Tina, do you know where Pete is? I'm looking for Patrick." "Um, no. Not really." "You do. Tell me." "They promised me not to tell you." "Tina, please. Patrick's mom is worried." "Alright. But don't tell them where you heard it." "Where are they?" "Patrick wanted to go to Wisconsin, so Pete and him took the bus there." "What?" Destiny didn't know if she heard Tina right. "Are you sure?" "Yes." "Thanks." Destiny got dressed and took some money she had saved.
She then left a note for her mom and ran next door. "Did you find out anything?" "Patricia, I need to tell you something." "Come in." Destiny quickly told Patricia everything that happened with her dad and where Patrick went. "I have some money. I thought we could take the plane. I'm worried about him and Pete." "Okay, let me call your mom." Patricia called Destiny's mom and told Kevin she was going to be gone. The left for the airport and were able to get on a plane right away. Destiny was so worried. Her dad had guns in his house. She was so mad at Patrick. What was he thinking?

The plane landed a few hours later and they got a car and drove to Destiny's dads. The door was slightly opened. Destiny noticed Patrick laying on the floor. "Oh god no." She ran to him. Patricia kneeled down. "He's breathing. I'm going to call 911." "Patty, please wake up." She then noticed the blood. So much blood. She cradled his head in her lap. "Dest, I took care of it. You are going to be alright." "What? What did you take care of?" "You dad. He's gone." She then looked and noticed her dad on the floor. "Patrick, did you kill him?" "Yeah, but he came after me with a gun. It was the only way. I'm sorry. I just wanted to talk to him." "Rest, Patty. I'm going to try and find Pete." Patricia came over to her son while Destiny looked through the house.

"Pete, Pete, where are you?" She looked in her bedroom. He was in there. "Pete!" She ran to him. "Are you alright?" His eyes opened. "Oh my god, are you alright?" "Not really. How's Patrick?" "Breathing. What were you two thinking?" "He wanted to protect you." Just then the paramedics came and took Pete and Patrick to the hospital. Destiny's dad was taken as well, but he would be going to the morgue. The police asked Destiny and Patricia questions when they got to the hospital. Then they talked to Pete and Patrick. "Patricia, do you think they will arrest Patrick or Pete?" "I don't know sweetie." "This is all my fault." "No, it isn't. Patrick shouldn't of gone off like he did."
The officers came out and talked to Patricia. A few minutes later she came back. "Everything is going to be fine. They said that with it being self defense they won't charge them. But they wanted our numbers in case something comes up." "Good. I don't want them in trouble for this." The doctor came out and talked to Pat and Destiny. "Both the boys will be alright. I want them to spend the night here. They should be good to go tomorrow morning. You can see them if you like." "Go ahead Destiny. Patrick, doesn't need me yelling at him right now." Destiny went to see Patrick.

"Hey, Patty." "Destiny, how are you?" "Mad at you. What were you thinking?" "I want to protect you. Come here." She sat on the bed. "What happened." "Pete and I went to your dads. I just wanted to talk to him. Tell him to stay away from you. He said some stuff and I told him not to talk to about you like that. That's when he started beating the crap out of both Pete and I. You could of told me your dad is huge." "You shouldn't of came here." "Anyway, your dad knocked out Pete. And that's when he brought out the gun. I didn't know what to do. He pointed the gun right at me. I was so scared, Dest. All I could think about was you and what that man did to you. It must of gave me the power because I somehow grabbed the gun, but it went off. I thought I was shot, but then I looked up and realized your dad was the one that got shot." He fell down and at that moment I started getting light headed and passed out. Next thing I remember is you holding me." Patrick smiled at Destiny.

"Your mom is pretty pissed at you." "Yeah, I'll probably be grounded for the rest of my life." "You should be. If you weren't in this hospital bed I'd hit you." "Thanks." "Patty, I could of lost you. Don't you understand." She went to his arms and started crying. "Oh baby. It's alright. Shhh." "Patrick Martin Stumph, I want to talk to you." Patricia came in. "I'll leave. Take care, Patrick." She smiled at him.

Chapter 33: Bang The Doldrums

Bobbie and Patrick came home. It was good to be home, even though Patrick would be leaving soon. Patrick had his mom drop off Eric. He ran into the house. "Mom, Dad? Are you home?" "Hey buddy. I missed you." Patrick lifted him up. "Eric, I'm so happy to see you. We missed you so much." Bobbie said. "Did you two have a nice time?" Patricia asked. "Yeah, but I got sunburned. I swear the sun hates me." "Well, I'll let you three alone. Call if you need anything." "Um, mom let me walk you to your car." Patrick said.

Patrick and Patricia went to her car. "What's wrong?" "Nothing. But I'm going on tour in a few days. I was wondering if you could keep an eye on Bobbie." "Why?" "Just something in her past and it happened on our honeymoon. I don't want to get in to it. I worry about her, but she seems to be doing good." "I'll call and come over. And tell her if she needs to get out that I'll watch Eric." "Okay. I will. Thanks for watching him." "Anytime. Talk to you later. I love you and be careful." "I will."

Patrick walked back in the house. Bobbie was making supper and Eric was telling her about his week. Patrick just stood to the side and watched them. "So, Timmy took Amanda's lunch money and I got it back for her." "That's good. You didn't fight him or anything?" "No, I told him that if he didn't give her the money back that I would tell his older brother about it." Bobbie laughed. "So, when do you think you can teach again? We miss you." "I have a doctor's appointment this week and I should know then." Bobbie looked up. "Patrick, what are you doing?" He walked to Eric and rubbed his head. "Looking at my family." "Your silly, daddy." Bobbie finished making supper and they all ate. Afterwords, they played a board game and then Eric went to bed.

"Patrick, I'm going to bed." "Baby, is anything wrong?" "No, just tired. See you in a little bit. Don't stay up too late." "I won't hun." Bobbie went to the bedroom and laid on the bed. She didn't want Patrick to leave. She didn't want to be one of the rock star wives that complained about her husband going on tour. She could feel the tears. She felt Patrick get into bed. "So, nothing is wrong?" "I don't want to complain and make you feel bad." "Face me, Bobbie." She turned around. "Don't cry, babycakes. You will probably be so busy with Eric and teaching that you won't even miss me." "Patrick! How can you say that. I will miss you. Terribly." "I want you to get out and maybe even go out with Megan once and awhile. Just you two. Have my mom take care of Eric. Alright?" "Okay." He kissed her and they feel asleep in each other arms.

The next day Patrick and Bobbie went to the doctor. She had a checkup to see if she could go back to teaching. All the tests came back normal and she was told she could go back to teaching. They went out for lunch and went home. Once there Patrick started to pack for the tour. Bobbie helped but wasn't too happy. "Babe, smile." "I'm sorry. So do you know how long you will be gone?" There was a knock on the door. "That's probably Pete. He's dropping off a few strings for the guitar and some new songs." "I'll get it." Bobbie walked to the door. "Hey Pete. How are you?" "Good. I want you to meet a few guys. This is Brendon Urie and Ryan Ross. They are recording their album here." Bobbie shook both of their hands. "Hi, it's nice to meet both of you." She looked at Ryan. He had the most beautiful eyes. "Do you guys want something to drink?" "Sure. I'll have a water." Pete said. "Could you make some hot tea? Got to keep my singer's voice." Brendon said. "Sure. What would you like Ryan?" "Uh, I'll help you." "Oh, okay." They walked to the kitchen. Bobbie started the water for Brendon's tea. "There is some water in the fridge." "What would you like?" "I'll just have a water." "Okay. Can you grab me one?" "Sure." Ryan bent down to grab 3 waters. Bobbie looked over. She thought he had a cute butt. "Oh god." "What?" Ryan said. "Uh, nothing." Bobbie thought how could get get flustered with this man she just met and plus, she was married to the man of her dreams. She got Brendon's tea ready. "Let's go to the living room."

Patrick had joined Pete and Brendon. Bobbie gave Brendon his tea and went to sit on Patrick's lap. "So, how are the newlyweds?" Pete asked. "Good. Sad you are taking my husband away." "Don't blame me. Blame Bob." The guys were talking about music and Bobbie looked at Ryan. He was looking at her. He looked like he lost his best friend. She didn't know what it was about him. She looked away and kissed Patrick. "Hey Babe, what's that for?" "Just being you."

Chapter 27: Love On Hold

"Patrick, why don't you go home. You've been here for three days." "Are you sure?" "Yes, you need a shower and a decent nights sleep." "Alright. I'll be here in the morning. If you need anything give me a call. No matter what time. I'm just a phone call away. I love you." He kissed her.

Once he got home he took a shower and put on pajama pants and a t-shirt. He went downstairs for a water and some toast. There was a knock on the door. "Hi Patrick." "Uh, Allison. What the hell are you doing here?" "I thought you could use some company." "Well, I'm doing fine." "Can I come in, for at least a drink?" "Alright. Come in." "Are you doing okay?" "Yeah. Bobbie is coming home in a few days." "That's good." "Yeah. What would you like to drink?" "I'll just have a water." He went to the fridge and got a water for her.

"Why are you here?" "I just want to see you. I really have missed you." "Allison, we are done. You were my first love, but Bobbie replaced you." She slapped Patrick. "I will never be replaced." "I'm not going to fuck things up again." Allison kissed Patrick. He pushed her away. "Stop it. Leave me alone. I love Bobbie. Not you." "Patrick, I need you. I want you." "What else can I say for you to leave?" "I want to feel you on top of me. We had such good times." "Allison, please. I'm not in the mood for this." "One more time. Please, Pattycakes. Just one more. It will be so good. I want you inside of me. I want to be the one to wrap her legs around your waist." Patrick ran his hand through his hair. He was getting hot, but not for Allison. He went to the door and opened it. "Leave and never come back. If you see me on the street, don't say hello." She walked to the door. She placed her hand on his cheek. "Remember, I love you." "Just go."

After she left Patrick slammed the door and locked it. He went upstairs. He went to bed. It took him a hour to fall asleep. He wanted Bobbie to be back home.

~Patrick's Flashback~

~"Trick, where are you?" Bobbie looked around. She was in the lake and couldn't find Patrick. They were the only ones there. All of a sudden she felt arms around her waist. She turned around. "Hello Mr. Stumph." "Hello." "Are you having fun?" "I always have fun with you." Patrick grabbed Bobbie in his arms and threw her in the water. "Patrick Martin Stumph. That was mean." "Uh, Bobbie." "Yeah." "You might want to fix your top." He smiled. She looked down. "Oh god." She quickly turned around and fixed the top of her bikini. "Patrick, that wasn't funny." He swam to her and took her in his arms. "It's not like I haven't seen them before." He cupped her breasts. "Will you stop." She kissed him, sliding her tongue in his mouth. "Let's go back to my house." "Trick, what do you have planned?" "You'll see."~

The next day Patrick went to the hospital. Bobbie wasn't in her room. He went to the nurses station. "Hi, where is Bobbie?" "They took her for tests. She might be able to go home today." "Really?" "Yes. Just wait in her room. She should be back soon." "Thanks." Patrick went back to Bobbie's room. A few minutes later Bobbie was wheeled into her room. Patrick stood up and have her a kiss on the cheek. She stood up. "How are you feeling?" "Real good. I can go home today." "I can't wait."

"I have some good news. I remembered something today." He sat on the bed and took her hands in his. "What did you remember?" "I remember bumping into you at the coffee shop. That's why they took my for some tests. I woke up remember looking for money and bumping into your back and when you turned around I looked into your beautiful green eyes." She took one of her hands and placed it on the side of his face rubbing his sideburn. "Do they think you'll be getting the rest of your memory back soon?" "They really don't know." "Oh." "Don't look so sad. At least I'm starting to remember." He smiled at her.

He took her hands in his again. "Bobbie, I need to tell you something." "Oh no. It's something bad isn't it?" "You know Allison was here?" "Yeah." Her anger was rising. "Well, she showed up at our house last night." "Tell me you didn't." "I didn't. God, Bobbie. I wouldn't ever do that again. I love you too much. Believe some of the things she said got to me, but I wanted you. Not her. She made me sick. I wanted her out of the house right away." "Oh Patrick." She hugged him. "I love you." He pushed her back holding onto her arms. "What?" "I love you." She smiled. "Are you sure you mean it?" "Yes, Patrick. When we were together last, that was the one thing that hurt me. I know we are going to get past this."

Dr. Aarons walked in. "Hi Bobbie. Are you ready to go home." "Yeah. I'm kinda tired of being here." "Well, I have some paperwork to fill out and you'll need to sign and then you'll be free to go." "Okay." Dr. Aarons left. "Are you happy to go home?" Patrick asked. "Of course, silly." She went into his arms and looked into his eyes. "Is something wrong?" Patrick asked her. She kept looking. "Bobbie, what is it?" "Uh, I remembered going to the winter carnival. We ice skated and you fell. We made a snowman and you threw a snowball at me, but I got you back." She laughed. "Patrick, my memories are coming back." He kissed her. "Oh baby, I'm so happy." He swung her around. "Trick, stop. I'm going to be sick." He put her down. "I'm going to change." "Okay. I'll be here."

Bobbie got dressed and Dr. Aarons came back for her to sign the paperwork. "I would like to see you in a week at my office, but if anything happens call. Do you have any questions?" "No, I'm just ready to go home." "Okay. See you in a week."

Patrick and Bobbie left the hospital and went home. Patrick was going to pick Eric up later. "So do you remember any of the house?" Patrick asked. "Um, not really. I'm sorry." "Don't be. Let me show you to your room." Patrick took her suitcase and Bobbie followed him up the stairs. Here is my room and over there is Eric's. Yours is down the hall next to mine." "Okay."

Patrick took Bobbie's hand and walked to her room. "It's nice. Oh look, I love this picture of us. When you guys first went on the road in that crappy van. I missed you so much. Those days seem so long ago." "Yeah, sometimes I wish things could go back to then." "Patrick, we need to live life. Even if its not what we want." "How did you get so smart?" He kissed the top of her head. "Why don't you settle in and I'll get Eric?" "Okay. See you later."

Patrick drove to Pete's and knocked on the door. "Patrick, come in. Eric is excited." "How are things with you and Megan?" "Good. We are finally on a trusting level again." "Daddy." Eric yelled running down the hall. Patrick lifted him up. "Hey buddy. I missed you. Are you ready to go home?" "Yeah. Is mommy home?" "She is and wants to see you." "Oh good." "Thank you, Pete. Tell Megan thanks too. You both have helped us our a lot." "No problem. Go and enjoy the night with Bobbie."

Patrick and Erick went home. "Eric, can you put your things away and I'm going to check on your mom." "Okay." Eric went to his room. "Bobbie, are you in your room?" Patrick knocked on her door. There was no answer. He opened it. No sign of her. He went to his room. She was sleeping in his bed. He went to Eric's room. "Can I ask you a favor?" "What?" "Can you play or do some homework, so mommy and daddy can have some quiet time." "Quiet time? It's not quiet when Pete and Megan do it." "Eric! Number one, you are never to stay over night at Pete's again and number two, we are not doing it. You mom is resting." "Sure."

Patrick walked back to his room shaking his head. Pete warped Eric's mind in such a short time. Bobbie was still sleeping. He got on the bed behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "I love you, Bobbie." "Patrick, I love you too." He looked over at Bobbie, but she was still sleeping. He smiled . Patrick laid watching her breathing and then fell asleep.

~One Hour Later~

"Pattycakes." Bobbie traced her finger over Patrick's lips. She kissed him. "Come on, Trick. Wake up." Patrick opened one eye. "Why did you wake me? I was dreaming of a beautiful woman kissing me. She was so beautiful. Brown hair, brown eyes, and such a wonderful smile. Just plain gorgeous." She playfully slapped him on his shoulder. He smiled at her.

Just then Eric ran into the room and jumped on the bed. "Are you two going to get up?" Eric kept jumping up and down. Bobbie started to get out of bed. She fell over and hit her head on the night stand. "Bobbie. Oh god." Patrick rushed to her side. "Daddy, I didn't mean it. I didn't mean to hurt mommy." "Eric, you didn't. I think she got dizzy." Patrick leaned down by Bobbie. "Sweetheart, wake up." She just laid there. "Bobbie, please get up." Patrick got the phone and dialed 911.

Chapter 28: Famous Last Words

Patrick and Eric were in the waiting room. It was 3 hours since Bobbie was brought in. Patrick was just staring into space. He couldn't believe they were back at the hospital. The doctor finally came. "Can I talk to you in private?" "Sure." Eric was sleeping on Patrick's lap. He moved him so he wouldn't wake up.

"How is she?" "Actually, she is doing great. She has a bump from her fall, but everything else is fine. Her blood pressure went down and that is why she passed out. Bobbie is awake and wants to see you." "Okay. Let me get our son." Patrick got Eric and they walked to Bobbie's room.

"Hi Baby." "Trick, I'm sorry for scaring you. You too Eric." "I'm glad you're fine. I thought it was my fault." "No. I got dizzy and passed out. But I have something to tell you both." "What?" Patrick asked. "When I hit my head something snapped in my brain and I remember everything." "Are you serious?" "Yes. I remember going shopping for my wedding dress, your proposal, your fight with Brody. Everything." Patrick took her face in his hands. "I love you." He kissed her. "Um. I'm still here." Eric said. They looked over at him. "Come here." Bobbie said. "And I remember taking you in and adopting you." Eric smiled. She kissed him. "Speaking of, how are things going with the paperwork?" "They are putting it on hold. They wanted to wait until things got better. I am still on the papers otherwise they probably would have taken him." "Thank god." She hugged Eric.

Dr. Aarons came in. "So, I heard what happened. How are you feeling?" "Really good. My head hurts, but I remember and that's all that counts." "I want to keep you the night. You can leave tomorrow. Just for observation." "Okay." "If you need anything let the nurses know." "Thanks."

Patrick sat on her bed. "I'm so glad you are feeling better." He pushed her hair behind her ear. She smiled at him. "Pete should be here. I asked him to watch Eric for awhile." "Okay." In a hour Pete came and Eric went with him. Patrick and Bobbie talked for a few hours.

"I want you to go home tonight. I'll be fine." "Are you sure?" "Yes. I'll be okay. Honest." "Alright. I can't wait until we never have to see this hospital again." "Me too. Patrick, I want to ask you something." "Sure, baby." "Since we missed our wedding date, I want to get married as soon as possible." "Are you sure. You just got your memory back." "I haven't been more surer in my life. I want to be your wife." He smiled. "We'll check things out tomorrow." "Okay." She kissed him, sliding her tongue in his mouth. He cupped her breasts. "I missed this, Trick." "Me too." A nurse came in. "Sorry to disturb you, but we need to do vitals. Plus, visiting hours are over in a few minutes." "Oh, okay. I'll see you in the morning." "I love you, Patrick." He kissed her.

The next morning Patrick got Eric ready for school and went to the hospital. Bobbie was already to leave. "Hey, how are you feeling?" "Good. I want to go home." "I have some good news. I called the church and they can marry us in 2 weeks. Do you want it that soon?" "Yes. Call them and tell them we'll take it." Patrick made the phone call. Dr. Aarons came in with forms and they left.

When they got home they made phone calls to some family and friends, got a hall, flowers, and a photographer. The next few days went by fast. The did a lot of planning. They were having supper with Patrick's family. They didn't tell them yet and wanted to in person. They were going to his mom's and his dad and brother were going to be there. Patrick knocked on the door. His mom answered. "Hi Bobbie. I'm so glad you are feeling better." Patricia said. "Me too. We brought some cookies." "Thank you. Hello Eric. How are you doing?" "Good. Is grandpa here?" "Yeah, in the living room." He went into the living room. "Hi mom. How are things?" "Good. Your brother is here." "Okay. Do you need any help?" "No. You both go into the living room." Bobbie and Patrick went to the living room. "Hi dad, Kevin." "Hey you two." Bobbie hadn't seen Kevin since that first Christmas. "Bobbie, dad has been filling me in." He got up and hugged her. "I'm so glad you are feeling better." "Thanks." She was still uncomfortable around him. He was nothing like Patrick.

There was a knock on the door. "That's probably my girlfriend." Kevin went to the door. "He's got a new girlfriend?" Patrick asked his dad. "He doesn't talk about his personal life. I have no idea who she is." Kevin and his girlfriend walked into the living room. "Here she is. The love of my life." Patrick and Bobbie couldn't believe it. It was Allison. "What the hell?" Patrick said. "Son, calm down." "You know who this is?" "Yes, but not in front of Eric." Eric looked worried. He could tell Patrick and Bobbie were upset.

"How have you been, Allison?" Bob asked. "Good. I'm working at a law firm, so I'm busy." "That's good. How's your folks?" "Good. My mom was in the hospital, but doing better. That's where I seen Patrick and thought I would get back in touch with Kevin." She looked at Kevin. Patricia came to the living room and had a surprise look on her face. "Oh, hi Allison." "Hi, Mrs. Stumph." "What are you doing here?" "I'm with Kevin." "Oh, call me Patricia. Everything is ready." Everyone went to the table, but Patrick and Bobbie stayed behind. "Are you alright with this?" He asked. "No, but we'll get through this." "I don't know what he is trying to pull or her." "Let's just have a nice meal and tell your mom and dad our news." "Alright." They got to their chairs and ate.

The conversation was a little strained. Bobbie didn't say too much. Allison was talking about when her and Patrick were dating. Bobbie was getting sicker by the minute. "Remember Pattycakes when we went to the State Fair. That's where you first kissed me." "Yeah." Patrick was picking at his food. Bobbie placed her hand on his thigh. She whispered, "Tell them." "Mom, dad, Bobbie and I have some news." "Oh, what?" "We are getting married next weekend." "Oh my gosh." Patricia stood up and hugged Bobbie. "I'm so happy for you two. I didn't want to ask about the wedding. If you need any help, I'm here." "Thank you." "Same here." Bob said. "You really going through it baby brother?" "Yeah, why?" "Well, Allison said that you and her were together while Bobbie was in the hospital. Don't you have to be faithful to your wife?" "What Allison didn't tell you is how I threw her out. If you want to start this, let's go outside. Not in front of my son." "Just asking. Calm down, Patty." "How are the plans going?" Patricia asked. "Good, we have a lot done already. We are just having family and a few friends." Bobbie said.

After they ate, Kevin and Allison left. "I'm sorry, baby." Patrick said hugging Bobbie. "It's alright. They are probably just trying to get back at us." "I love you." "I love you more." He smiled. "I'm going to help mom with the dishes and then we can go home. Go in the living room." "Okay." "Patrick?" His dad said. "Yeah?" "I just want to tell you how proud I am of you. If it was me, I would of punched Kevin. I need to talk to that boy." "It's alright. Thanks, though." "I'm going to go. If you need anything, let me know." "Okay, bye."

Patrick helped his mom with the dishes and they left. They went home and Eric went to bed. Bobbie put him to bed and went to the living room to Eric. "Hey, Tricky." "Hi, how are you doing?" "Okay. A little tired." "I meant about tonight?" "It was a little difficult, but we made it through." She smiled. "Let's go to bed." She grabbed his hand and they went to bed.

Chapter 22: A Girl Can Change Her Mind

The next day school went well. Eric was coming out of his shell. She worried that he didn’t talk about his dad much. But maybe with time. After school Eric stayed behind to do some homework. When they got home Patrick called.

“Hello, Baby.”

“Pete and Megan will be at your house at 6:00. I’ll be there before.”

“Okay. Where are we going?”

“It’s a surprise.”

“I’ll be ready. I need to get Eric something to eat. We just got home.”

“Alright. Tell him hi. See you later.”

“I love you.” “Love you.”

After she hung up she got Eric something to eat.

“Eric, supper is ready.” He sat at the table.

“I’m going on a date with Patrick tonight.”

“Yeah, Patrick told me.”

“He did? He’s sneaky.” Eric laughed.

“Am I coming?”

“No honey. A few friends are coming to watch you. You know Pete in Patrick’s band? It’s going to be him and his girlfriend Megan.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. You finish up here and I’m going to take a shower and get dressed. If Patrick comes let him in.”

Bobbie went and took a shower and changed into a pink dress with a white sweater. She walked to the living room. Patrick was there playing a video game with Eric.

“Hi, Patrick.”

He looked so handsome in black jeans and a white dress shirt. He looked up.

"Hey gorgeous.”

He put down the controller and went to her and kissed her. Just then there was a knock on the door.

“Hi Pete. Hi Meagan. Come in.”

“You look beautiful, Bobbie.” Meagan said.

“Thank you. I want you two to meet Eric.” They went to the living room.

“Eric, I want you to meet Pete and Megan.” Eric turned around.

“Hey, Eric. I’m Pete and this is Megan.”

“Hi, do you want to play Mario Cart.”

“I was worried you wouldn’t ask me.” Pete jumped on the couch.

“Meagan, I want to show you where some things are. I’m sure Pete has forgotten.”

They walked to the kitchen.

“Here is my phone number and Eric’s doctor’s number. Just in case. His pajamas are on his bed. He goes to bed between 8:00-8:30. I don’t think there is anything else.”

“He’ll be fine. I’ll watch the two boys.”

“Thanks.”

“Are you ready Bobbie?” Patrick asked.

“Yeah. Eric, I’m going.” He went to her.

“You be good for Megan and Pete. Go to bed when your suppose to.”

“I will. Have a nice time.“ He winked at Patrick

“Love you Bobbie. Love you Patrick.”

Patrick and Bobbie left and went to a fancy restaurant.

“Patrick, we can just go somewhere simpler.”

“Not tonight.”

They got a table and ordered supper. After they ate they went to the park and took a walk. They sat on the bench they did 6 years ago.

“Remember our first date? We sat here.” Patrick asked.

“I was so nervous. I think I knew then that I loved you. When I left and was in Minnesota I always remembered that night.” She smiled at Patrick.

“Trick, are you all right. Your sweating and it’s freezing out here.”

“I’ll be fine in a little bit.” He looked into her eyes.

“Bobbie, I have something to ask you.”

“What?”

“I know we really haven’t been together that long again, but I love you so much. I have been thinking about this even before last night. I want you in my life forever. I never forgot you. You mean so much to me. When you left and we got big, I missed sharing that with you. All the tours we did, when I came home, I wanted to come home to you.”

He went in front of her and kneeled down.

“Bobbie Jean Madison, will you marry me?” He brought out a ring.

“Oh my god, Patrick. I don’t know what to say.”

“I know last night you said it was too soon, but we were meant to be together. I love you.”

She didn’t say anything for a few minutes. He was about to close the box and leave.

“Yes, Patrick Martin Stumph. I’ll be your wife.”

He smiled and He slid the ring on her finger. It fit perfect. He stood up and grabbed her.

“I love you.”

“I love you more. Are you absolutely sure? It’s not just me. You get Eric too.”

“Why do you think I asked you?” She slapped him on the arm.

“Do you want to adopt him too?”

“Yes. I want us to be a family. I love that boy so much.”

“Let’s go home.”

Patrick drove to Bobbie’s.

Pete and Megan were watching T.V.

“Hey guys.”

“Hi Patrick. Did you have a nice time?” Pete asked.

Patrick has his arm around Bobbie.

“Very nice.” He looked at her.

“Wanna tell them?”

“You go ahead.”

“I asked her to marry me.”

“Oh my god. Let me see the ring.”

Megan ran to Bobbie. Patrick looked at Pete. He looked upset.

“Man, are you alright.”

“Of course. It’s just my little Patty Cakes is getting married.”

“Stop it you fool.”

“Very nice, Patrick. The ring is beautiful.” Megan said.

“How was Eric?” Bobbie asked.

“You have one great boy there. Pete and him played video games for awhile and then I read him a few stories. He went to bed at 8:00.”

“Thank you so much.”

“If you ever need someone we’ll be glad to watch him. I’m really happy for you and Patrick.”

Megan and Bobbie hugged.

“Megan, are you doing anything on Saturday?”

“No.”

“Would you like to go out for lunch?”

“Sure. I’ll call you tomorrow.”

“Okay.” Pete and Megan left.

Bobbie was sitting on the couch. Patrick ran to her and jumped on the couch. She laughed.

“I take it you’re happy.”

“You have no idea.” He kissed her.

“Bobbie, can I spend the night?”

“I don’t know. Now with Eric it’s different.”

“Please. We’re going to be adopting him. He’ll have to get use to me being around.”

“That is the lamest excuse I’ve heard to get into my pants. He is already use to you. You can spend the night.”

He took her into his arms carrying her to her bedroom. He put her on the bed.

“Bobbie, I want to finish what we started last night.”

“Are you sure?”

“Never surer in my life.”

She got butterflies in her stomach. He took her sweater off and she took his hat off. She ran her hands through his hair. His lips attacked hers. She licked his lips before sliding her tongue into his mouth. She unbuttoned his shirt and took it off. She ran her hands up and down his back and then his chest.

“God Bobbie, I’ve missed this so much. I’m sorry for the last 5 years.”

“It’s alright Patrick. We’re together now.”

She kissed him. His tears dropped on her face.

“Sweetie, everything is fine.”

“I love you, baby cakes.” He started to sing to her.

*It seems so obvious there’s something up with us

I smell the feeling from across the room. so can I ask you this?

Not to be forward, miss, but I think I’ll kill myself if I never know...

What do I have to do to get inside of you? To get inside of you?

Cause I love the way you move, when I’m inside of you.

When I’m inside of you... just ask and I will do anything

you want me to there is no limit to how far I will go..

and I’m sure I can't pretend to be a gentlemen..

But before I began, I just gotta know, just gotta know....

What do I have to do to get inside of you? to get inside of you?

Cause I love the way you move, when I’m inside of you.

When I’m inside of you... for now I’ll play the game and

I'm waiting for your move but I’ve got to say I've gotta know..

What do I have to do to get inside of you? to get inside of you?

What do I have to do to get inside of you? to get inside of you?

Cause I love the way you move, when I’m inside of you

He took off her dress.

“You’re body is still perfect.”

To tell the truth she hated her body. Everything was too big. Her stomach, butt, thighs, breasts. She hated it. All that mattered was that Patrick seen her as beautiful. She started to shake when Patrick cupped her breasts.

“What’s wrong?”

“I don’t know. I guess I just feel like it’s my first time. I’m nervous.”

“That makes two of us. We’ll go slow.”

He unsnapped the front of her bra and took it off. He bent down and licked her breasts.

“Oh Patty.”

He hated when people called him nicknames but loved it when she did. He sucked on one nipple while rubbing the other. She arched her back. She switched breasts.

“Trick, don’t stop.”

“I’m not planning on it.”

He kissed her stomach and took her panties off. He kissed her inner thighs.

“Oh, please baby.”

He slid two fingers inside of her. She was dripping wet for him.

“Patrick, it feels so good.”

He put his mouth on her sliding his tongue inside. She ran her hands through his hair.

“Oh god.”

Bobbie grabbed the sheets. He licked his way down her legs. She laughed.

“Stop it. That tickles.”

He laid down next to her. She unsnapped his jeans and unzipped them. She took them off with his boxer briefs. She straddled him and kissed him on the lips. She bit his bottom lip. She slid her tongue inside of his mouth. His hands rubbed her hips. Her breasts were rubbing his chest. He cupped both of them.

“Trick, you make me feel so good.”

All he could do is smile. She kissed his chest, working her way down. She kissed his hips. She then took him into her hand, rubbing him up and down. She took him into her mouth.

“Oh, Bobbie.”

He ran his fingers through her brown hair. She moved up and down on him and twirled her tongue around him. She came up like the tip of his cock which had a little cum on it.

“Mmmm. You taste so sweet. Stumptastic.”

“Bobbie, you are such a nerd.”

“So are you.”

“True. I love you. You have my heart and always will.” She had tears in her eyes.

“Oh Patrick, I love you too.”

He got between her legs. She spread them. He pushed his way in.

“Oh god. Bobbie, I missed you.”

He moved slowly at first and then quickly.

“Patrick, I love you.”

Both of them were crying. “

Bobbie, I can’t stop. I’m coming.”

“Trick, harder.”

They both came at the same time. They were sweaty and smelled of sex. Patrick laid on top of Bobbie. She played with his hair. She was thinking about the past.

“I never thought about this before, but we’re a perfect fit. In every way.”

Patrick said. She didn’t say anything. She just played with his hair. He looked up. She had tears in her eyes.

“Bobbie? What’s wrong?”

“I’m sorry. Sorry for everything. I’m sorry I didn’t give you a chance and just left. I should have been more understanding of what you were going through with Jackson and losing Hailey. We wasted those years apart. It’s all my fault.”

She was sobbing. Patrick got up and held Bobbie.

“It’s alright. We’re together now. That’s all that matters. We found our way back to each other.”

He kissed her and laid down with her in his arms.

Around 3 am Patrick woke up. He could feel someone staring at him.

“Eric, what’s wrong?”

“I had a nightmare. Can you come to my room?”

“Sure. I’ll be there in a few minutes.”

Eric went to his room. Patrick put on his boxer briefs and shirt. He kissed Bobbie and went to Eric’s room.

“What happened?” “My dad. He was beating me and he hurt you and Bobbie.”

“Oh buddy.”

Patrick got into bed with Eric and held him. Patrick started to sing:

**How cruel is the golden rule?
When the lives we lived were only golden-plated
And I knew the lights of the city were too heavy for me
And though I can't wear karats for everyone to see

And I saw God cry in the reflection of my enemies
And all the lovers with no time for me
And all of the mothers raised their babies
To stay away from him
They both fell asleep.

Bobbie work up at 6:00am. Patrick wasn’t beside her. She got up to look for him. She went to Eric’s room. There were her two boys. She decided to have a sick day for both her and Eric. She called the school and told them they wouldn’t been in. She went back to Eric’s room. She kissed Patrick and then got in on Eric’s other side. Around 10:00 am Bobbie woke up with two pairs of eyes on her.

“We were wondering when you were going to get up? Also, aren‘t you a little late for school?” Patrick said.

“I called us in sick.”

“Really?” Eric said.

“Yeah. I thought it would be fun to stay home together. Why don’t we get up and get something to eat.”

“Okay. I’m starving. Patrick, will you play some videos games with me today.”

“Sure.”

Eric went to watch some T.V and Patrick and Bobbie went to the kitchen.

“Patrick, why were you in Eric’s room? Was everything alright?”

“He had a nightmare and came to your room.”

“Oh god. He seen us.”

“Relax. He didn’t see anything.”

“What was his nightmare about?”

“His dad. He was beating Eric and us.”

“That poor kid. I think I may have to talk to the Social Worker about his dad and maybe seeing a counselor.”

“I think that might be a good idea.”

“Will you stay around today?”

“Sure. I’ll go home though and shower and change. I have something to ask you though?”

“What?”

“When do you want to get married?”

“Um, I don’t know. My mom won’t come. She has her own life now that she moved to Italy.”

Bobbie looked down. Patrick took her into his arms.

“You have a new family now.” She smiled up at him.

“My dad passed away three years ago. I would just like a small wedding. If that’s alright?”

“Sure. I just want to get married.” “What about March 5. That will give us a little over a month.”

“Sounds good. I’ll call around today for a Church and a hall.”

They were kissing when Eric came in the kitchen.

“Come on you two. That’s really gross.” “Eric, when your older it won’t seem so gross.” Patrick said.

“Yeah, right.” Eric walked away rolling his eyes.

"Well, actually."

"Shut up you pervert." Patrick hit him.

"I'm going to go to bed. What time are we practicing?" Patrick asked.

"Noon. Andy has to work in the morning."

"Alright. Goodnight Pete."

Patrick went to his room and took his jeans, shirt, hat, and socks off and then he climbed into bed. All he could think of was her. He fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Fanfics

I haven't been on this for a LONG time. I'm going to use this for my crappy fan fics. :) I know some people read them and I guess I'll post them here. I have another lj that I'm using for personal stuff. If you want to add me, let me know.

Not much going on. Things seem to be going pretty good...for the most part.
